SCOUT² assists you in processing objects by means of Process Flow Automation. While taking account of the attributes of a selected object and its status as well as the project context, SCOUT² provides exactly the applicable processes.
You can start object-related processes via identical named functions: the edit function of a documentation object opens the corresponding text processing program; the same function, called up with a program source, opens the context-sensitive editor SourceAssistant.
The defined processes transparently integrate different development environments and tools and can be executed across platforms: for instance, a compile can be initiated on a host system and its results can subsequently be made available again automatically.
Nesting processes allows the definition of powerful batch processes and the execution of processes of any complexity.
