SCORE Adaptive Bridges is a flexible solution for building adaptive services that allow you to multiple the value of your existing applications and data stores. The adaptive services are defined in a platform independent manner as composition models in the composition repository. A series of adapters are used to discover information about existing assets, and also to generate the platform specific code that implements a concrete adaptive service:

• Discovery Adapters – SCORE Adaptive Bridges uses discovery adapters to obtain information about the interfaces to existing applications and data stores and/or the interfaces to be exposed by the adaptive service to the client application.
• Platform Adapters – SCORE Adaptive Bridges uses platform adapters to generate platform specific code for the Application Adapter, Technology Adapter and Adaptive Proxy layers.
• Workstation Platform – The core SCORE Adaptive Bridges development tools are available on the Microsoft Windows workstation platform as part of the SCOUT² Development Platform.
