1. OMG Information Days 2006 – Strong Interest in Generative Solutions for Automatic Service Enablement

More than 300 IT managers attended the successful OMG Information Days 2006 events in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich to learn what SOA means for their software development and how the concrete implementation might look.

Rüdiger Schilling, CTO at Delta Software Technology, presented model-based concepts and generative tools for service enablement that really work. The solution presented allows the direct usage of the existing applications as real services and is the ideal complement to process modelling.

2. Service-Oriented Architecture: Moving from Hype to Implementation and Usage – Expert Seminar 8th May 2006

The introduction of Service-Oriented Architectures presents software engineering with totally new challenges. The expert seminar “SOA: Moving from Hype to Implementation and Usage” presents potential solutions and successful case studies from the real world.

SOA projects are strategic projects that even during their implementation are subject to continual change. Martin Herbst, Chief Architect at Delta Software Technology, explains in his presentation “Services – Where to get them? From the Legacy Automatically to Real Services” how generative tools support the reliable and stepwise development of Service-Oriented Architectures, thereby minimizing the investment risk.
